Rebel Cargo AI-Enhanced

Rebel Cargo is an iOS game where you play a smuggler running freight across a galaxy at war. It mixes a vertical shoot-'em-up with a match-3 puzzle played inside your own cargo hold. Every cube you match powers one of your ship's systems, and every fire that spreads through the hold can knock one offline mid-flight.

The Loop

Chart a course. Each run starts on a star map of planets, moons, nebulas, asteroid fields and black holes, each one held by a faction. The map is seeded by the date, so everyone flies the same galaxy on the same day.

Fly. Drag anywhere to steer while your cannons and missiles fire automatically. Downed raiders and broken salvage crates drop coloured cubes, which you collect into your hold.

Pack the hold. Tap your ship to step inside. Swipe cubes to make matches of three or more, and each match charges the system of that colour: missiles, cooling, engines or cannons. Charged systems unlock a big move in flight, like a homing missile salvo or an engine boost that turns the ship into a shielded comet. Raider hits start fires in the hold. Fire spreads over time, and if it reaches a system, that system goes down until you repair it.

Dock and trade. At each station you deliver crates, take on new contracts, and buy components that weld onto your systems for good. Each cargo item is a polyomino you fit into the hold, so every upgrade is also a packing puzzle.

Picking Sides

Three factions fight over the map. The Order is at war with both rebel groups, the Chosen and the Reform. Who you deliver to shifts your standing with all three. Factions you've helped send escorts to fly beside you, and factions you've crossed send raiders after you. At the end of some routes, a warlord's flagship is waiting. The alignment screen shows where you stand: the triangle stretches toward each faction you've sided with.
