Disc to Digital
Disc to Digital lets players claim a digital license for a game disc they already own. I designed the motion for the “Digital license unlocked” toast, where the disc icon breaks apart into pixels and reassembles as a digital mark.
Explorations
I explored a few ways for the disc to become digital, from a clean pixel break-up to a more playful flame-like morph.
Handing Off to the Game
In these versions, the icon digitizes and then the toast hands off to the game itself, swapping in its title and box art. I tried them in the system theme and with player accent colors.
